The courses are organized on the premises in Kecskemét, and in base institutions all over the working area. Providing complex, flexible, practice-oriented trainings is a guiding rule to the work of the Kecskemét Training Centre. The institution applies the ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance system certified by TÜV Rheinland Euroqua Ltd.

The mission of the training centre is the human resources management in the region in the terms of Life Long Learning:

 - training and retraining of the unemployed,
 - providing training and upgrading courses for the employees of
  o regional firms,
  o industrial factories,
  o agricultural companies and farms,
  o small and medium enterprises
  o elementary, secondary schools (teachers and managers)
  o private sector (self-employed and individual entrepreneurs)
  o governmental authorities and organizations
  o the non-profit sector, NGOs

The Kecskemét Training Centre has 15 years experience in elaborating training programmes using DACUM and SCID methods, in job analysis and making job descriptions. With special target groups (especially with the cumulatively disadvantaged, school drop-outs, people with low educational level and people with no qualification) training needs analysis is used, prior to vocational trainings. The teachers and instructors have skills and experiences in elaborating and developing training programmes, customized training programmes, teaching materials, teaching aids and manuals for face-to-face, ODL, eLearning and blended trainings.

The training centre trains approximately 5000 - 5200 students on 260 - 270 courses annually, as an average. It provides customised training, retraining and upgrading courses in the following key fields:
